Melissa and Maribeth at Lighthouse Park

It’s early, early on a Sunday morning on a Victoria Day long weekend where I am not camped anywhere else on the planet other than my own few square meters of it. I have spent over 15 hours give or take going through the past two years in word and picture, looking at where I’ve been and what I’ve done in that time. I am not really thinking about where I’m going. In some ways that is a foregone conclusion. My focus is instead on what I’ve been doing and what I will be doing (differently) in the next two year period. It’s an excercise I must complete shortly and successfully, for the sake of the two girls pictured here, and their siblings, as well as for myself. For now, I’m going to my bunk listening to the birds singing to a sun that none of us can yet see, but surely know is coming.
