Giant Butterfly

Okay, I know that sounds like a farfetched assertion because I don’t have anything in this photo which actually offers any real idea of scale. You’ll just have to take my work for it. Seriously, if you take your hand, splay out your fingers as wide apart as you can, and measure the distance between your pinky finger and your thumb, that’s how wide the thing was from wing-tip to wing-tip – around 5-6 cm.
