The first time we left

One of my goals for this trip was to bring a scanner and raid my aunt’s photo albums. There are family photos here I have never seen, nor may again because the albums are deteriorating in the worst way. And praise be for Photoshop because some of the photos date back to WWII and are faded, scratched, etc.

This particular image was taken the day we left the Philippines for that first time. That’s my cousin Jerry, myself, and my sister in the front. For the record the grown-ups are: my Aunt Rita, Aunt Felipa, Rita’s husband (I’ll put his name in when I find out what it is), Dad, Mom, and cousin Maureen.
